WHY OUR SOY CANDLES ARE BETTER



Our goal at Enchanted Autumn, LLC is to bring you the very best products possible.  Our high quality Soy based candles are better for the environment, and for our consumers.  Below are just a few of the reasons that we work with soy wax rather than paraffin.  Due to the fact that our candles are made with Soy wax, they cost a little more than your paraffin based candles.  However we think you will agree, that the advantages far exceed any additional cost.

Soy wax candles burn cleaner and produce very little soot.  Paraffin wax on the other hand is a petroleum based product that when burned actually produces carcinogens and soot.  An air quality researcher actually stated that the soot from a Paraffin candle contains many of the same toxins produced by burning diesel fuel.

Soy wax on the other hand is made from American-grown soy beans, and is biodegradable.  Soy candles are also non-toxic, which means they are less likely to trigger allergies or headaches, produce very little soot, and can clean up with soap and water.  Soy candles also burn up to 30-50% longer than traditional paraffin candles, and they burn at a lower temperature.  Due to the lower temperature, and slower burning, these candles help to better distribute the fragrance.

As Soy wax is made from American-grown soybeans, you are helping to support American farmers.  Also Soy wax is a renewable resource, making it even more environmentally friendly than the petroleum-based paraffin.
